We’re Hiring: Content Creator – Lackawanna County, PA

We’re currently hiring a content creator to join our team at Muse of Media. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, focused on creating quality, engaging, short-form video content for clients in a variety of industries.

The ideal candidate is skilled in video creation and editing, understands social media platforms and trends, and can contribute meaningfully to strategy and planning. Whether you’ve worked in digital marketing for years or built your own portfolio independently, we’re open to applicants with a strong visual eye and a practical understanding of what makes content effective.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, collaborative position involving both production and planning. You’ll be working with our team and our clients directly to create content that reflects their brand and communicates their message clearly. The work is project-based and tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Requirements

This is not a remote role. You must be located in Lackawanna County, PA and able to travel locally for content shoots.

Additionally, you’ll need:

An iPhone 15 or newer for filming. Ideally, a 15 Pro or 16 Pro.
Proficient in CapCut or Splice and Canva or Adobe Suite.
A current and thorough understanding of all major social media platforms.
A reliable schedule that allows for up to 10 hours per week to start.
A portfolio of relevant work and three references (client, employer, or peer-based are acceptable).

Responsibilities:

Film and edit short-form video content on-site.
Assist in planning and organizing client content strategies.
Contribute to idea development and creative direction.
Remain current with platform-specific best practices and trends.
Ensure timely delivery of edited materials and maintain consistent quality standards.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with:

2+ years of experience in content creation or digital marketing(We’re open to applicants with less experience if your portfolio demonstrates strong skill and professionalism.)
A solid understanding of short-form video content formats, including Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
The ability to follow direction while also offering constructive input.
Strong communication and time management skills.
